Through its dedication to excellence, the center plays a pivotal role in promoting Baji Quan on a global scale.

Train Authentic Baji Quan (Eight Extremes Fist) at the Baji Quan International Training Center. Here you’ll study one of China’s most powerful traditional martial arts at its ancestral home. Founded over 300 years ago in Mengcun, Cangzhou, Hebei Province, Baji Quan (also written BajiChuan or “Eight Extremes Fist”) is famed for its explosive close-range power — beng han tu ji (shocking, crashing strikes) and tie shen jin fa (body-to-body issued force). Named one of China’s “Ten Excellent Styles” in 1988 and listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008, this is the real thing: raw, practical, and unchanged.

The Baji Quan International Training Center is the first formal institution in China dedicated to Baji Quan teaching, research, and cultural exchange, covering 560 mu (approx. 37 hectares) in its first phase with an investment of nearly 30 million RMB. It’s recognized as a Hebei Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Demonstration Base, a training base of Hebei Sport University and the Hebei Provincial Sanda Team, and an official grading unit of the Chinese Wushu Association. CCTV-1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 10 have all featured the school in documentary programs.

Open to students of all nationalities, ages 6 and up, and all skill levels — no prior experience required. Check out our Learn Kung fu in China travel guide to help you get started.
